then perhaps he's prepared to find the funding for the research to actually improve Terri's quality of life since, like her parents (and his brother), he clearly is willing to condemn her body to a lifetime of dependency otherwise. Or at least until her $ runs out, since Medicare won't pay for feeding tubes.
I mean, let's face it. Terri is practically the PERFECT poster child for this campaign. And I thought the tomato was a nice touch.
This post is intended as Anti-Bush political satire. No offense is intended towards Ms. Schiavo or her family. But since they've made Terri a public icon by making this such a public case, I'm hopeful that how her life ends will permit others to consider their own cases, and understand the real hazards of the religious Right (not 'correct'). -- ©2005 - JMS
